The "Constantin Stere" Park Bucov - with an area of ​​over 100 hectares, the park is named after Constantin Stere, writer and politician involved in the administration of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania in 1918.

 

The mansion where he spent his last years was recently opened to the public as a memorial museum.

Completed in 2006,the Writers Alley contains the bust of Constantin Stere and the busts of other 10 major contemporary writers : Garabet Ibrăileanu, Nicolae Iorga, Mihail Sadoveanu, Octavian Goga, Alexei Mateevici, Liviu Rebreanu, Calistrat Hogaş, Gala Galaction, George Topârceanu, Al. Brătescu Voineşti.

Another attraction of the park is provided by the few acres on which stretches the Zoological Garden.
