The Natural Science Museum Prahova - The Museum of Man brings together the most important aspects of human biology: anthropogenesis-anthropology, human races and subracesof Romanian population, anatomy and physiology, genetics, ecology, demography, nature conservation, anthropogenic ecosystems in Romania.
After the consolidation and restoration works of the Palace of Culture in Ploiesti from recent years, are currently open 3 of the 7 rooms of the "Museum of Man" permanent exhibition:
- the room showing the origin of life and evolution of living beings on Earth
- the human anatomy and physiology room and media room - screenings, virtual presentations, augmented reality, conferences
- the Genetics room with the "Drosophila melanogaster" projection and an interactive table with information about genetics. The application are active in video microscope.
These rooms now include attached exhibits synthesis informative panels, specific furniture, windows, lighting, LED screen projections, electrical simulations, interactive games, infokiosks and more.
