The lowest step of relief with height 70-200 m, occupies the southern part of the county Prahova. But its height ascends along the Prahova River at 300 m, continuing in the land of hills with the Campina terrace.
This area occupies as the hilly and mountainous ones, one third of the county, leading to a unique diversity of landscapes.
Here you can find traces of history visiting the Voivodes road area, horseback or by car, you can go with your motorbike or playing golf or polo.
Here is also the county capital, Ploiesti, which development influenced the "country of black gold", Prahova and where you can find two unique museums in Romania: Oil Museum and Clock Museum.
